The Christmas Lights

Nikki invited us all to go downtown and see the Christmas lights. We left around 5:00 and it was so crazy, I think everyone else in the valley was there trying to see the lights also. We decided to eat at City Creek at the food court and so did everyone else. It took us over an hour to get our food find a seat and then eat. Temple square was so crowded that you really had a hard time seeing the lights let a lone taking any pictures. The large ornaments are all made out of candy in Macys windows.. The weather was warm though, probably why so many people were there.
Oh well, it was still fun spending time with all the kids and grandkids...

Thanksgiving

This year was great as we had all of our children and their families for dinner. We also had my brother Mark and his daughter Brooke and my brother Scott. ALex's parents were even there. We had to use both tables and we were at capacity at both. The dinner was very yummy. I flew in today so kinda got out of having to do any of the cooking.
Brooke made the pies, Holli the sweet potatoes, Nikki the rolls and pumplin chiffon, and Kailie did the mashed potatoes and gravy with a little help from her dad. Paul was in charge of the turkey and the dressing.

The Elf Hunt at Gardner Village

Today I had the kids and it was about 54 degrees and sunny so we decided to go over to Gardner Village and hunt for Elves. There was about 15 elves that we had to find and at the end if you found all if them then you got a cute Christmas cookie.
We were able to find all but one but still got the cookie and then decided to have lunch there. It was a fun time except for the fact that Ryland didn't like the Elves...They were toooo scarey...haha
