Our 33rd anniversary

This year we celebrated 33 years of marriage. It's hard to believe that that much time has gone by. We have had our ups and downs, but I couldn't been married to a better person. Paul is the very best husband and father I could ever hope for. We went to dinner and then he surprised me with two tickets to see Michael Bubble in the Fall. I can hardly wait.  Happy Anniversary Honey...

Father's Day

This year it wasn't our Sunday for the kids for dinner but they all managed to come by and see their dad. We were invited over the Alex's parents for dinner which we went to but when we arrived dinner hadn't even been started. Paul ended up cooking on the BBQ for everyone. It was great food.

Celebrating with Aunt Bernice

This year we celebrated Aunt Bernice's   95  th Birthday. Her family had an open house at their local ward house and all of my family including mom and dad all went and celebrated this milestone. She is such a sweet lady and really has taken the place of my dear Grandma who has passed away. I really miss her a lot.

Moving Jewel

The last weekend in May we went down to St. George to sell all of Jewel's things and finalize moving her to Salt Lake. She refused to eat and so was so weak and taking way to much medication that she started falling a lot and we kept getting phone calls from her ward members saying she needed more assistance so we met as a family and decided it was time to move her to Sale Lake and move her into an assistant living place.
We moved to into the Golden Living Center.
All if the kids drove to St. George where we had a great big garage sale and sold all of her belongings that
she didn't want or need any longer. We spent the whole weekend there and got her house all cleaned out and ready to sell. It really is sad that she wasn't able to take care of herself any longer, but since Paul died she just seem to give up on life.

Memorail Day Weekend

This year we went camping back to our spot in Heber. We had Kailie and Alex, Holli and Dave rented a cabin and the Whitings joined us this year with their family. The weather was great. We did our traditional combined meals and them.  On Saturday all the girls headed for the outlet mall while the guys headed out fishing.  This is such a great tradition and I am so thankful that we get Holli and Kailie to join us each year.

Mother's Day

For Mother's day this year we had all the kids over for dinner. It was really nice. We had a great dinner.We ate outside and the weather was perfect. The girls were great and  gave me some great gifts. Thanks girls for making me feel like a wonderful mom. I love you all and am so blessed to be your mom.
