Paul's Birthday

This year Paul turned 55. It's hard to believe that we are getting this old. I really don't feel it.
Anyway we had a great day. We went to a Movie and saw a cute flick called Trouble with the Curve with Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams. Then that night I had all the kids over for Homemade Chili and cornbread. Then for dessert Homemade Cherry Cheesecake and Apple Pie. We played cards with all the kids and opened presents. It really was a nice night to have everyone over..Happy Birthday Paul....

The kids all gave him Cabella's gift cards, including one from my parents. I just gave him a new pair of Keen shoes and some new clothes..pretty boring...

We can't take care of the whole earth but we can take care of each other. Service to others is what I want to really do this year. If I can make a small deverence then I can feel good about that.

This doesn't mean we have to die to show love for our friends. We lay down our lives everytime we put someone else's needs before our own.
