Cherry Hill and Lagoon

It was time for annual Cherry Hill and Lagoon weekend. I look forward to this vacation every year. It's been a favortie of mine and the kids since they were little. We have been doing it since Nikki was a little baby. As usual it was great fun for all. The weather was a little crazy.... cooler than usual but rain storms everynight. It cut into some of our fun but all in all we had a great time. All the kids were there and we all seemed to have a wonderful time. This was Alex's first time there and I really think he had a great time also. Even Lagoon was great. Holli and Dave were the only one's that didn't go but considering Holli's condition it probably was a good idea that they passed. Hopefully next year they can join us with little baby Grayson..

Congratulations Nikki

In June Nichole finally passed her P E test for Civil Engineering to receive her actual license. We are so proud of her and all her accomplishments. She was so excited. She called me and was screeming in the phone "I Passes, I passed".  Congrats Nichole....we love you and are so happy for you.

Just a sneak peak....

On June 18th Kailie had her Bridal pictures taken. It was a hot day but  a great day for pictures. Kailie looked so beautiful. I am so excited to see the pictures when they are ready. I took a few before we started and then a couple at Day Break where we went. She ended up getting a little sun burned but I think the end result will be beautiful. I am so excited for her..

Kailie's Bridal Shower

On June 30th Kailie had her first Bridal shower. It was given by the neighborhood and it was a great success. They did a double with Breanna Watkins as she is getting married two days before Kailie. They both got so many nice things. The weather was perfect and so was the food. Thanks Nannette and Ellen for making it a fun night for all.

Happy 4th of July

The day started out with the traditional West Jordan Parade. The weather was perfect. It was around 70 something and overcast. So not to hot. Every once in awhile it would sprinkle a little. The parade was great. Porter loved it as did Ryland...After the parade Paul and I went and got some lunch and then met Nikki and Steven and the kids for a fun movie of CARS 2. It was a long movie and didn't really like it as well as the first one. After the movie we came back home and Alex and Kailie had gotten home from their weekend in Evanston, Wy. Holli and Dave came over too and we all left for the Bee's game and fireworks. It was still great weather for a game, even a breeze. The game was fun as well as the food. We won 10-9. The fireworks lasted about a half hour and were wonderful. The day was really a great day. I love spending the day with my children and grand children. What a wonderful country that we live in. I am so grateful for my freedom and this wonderful land that I live in. God Bless America and thank you Soldiers for protecting my freedom......
