On August 20th Paul and I decided to run the Weber river in a raft. The day was perfect and the water temperture was just right. You get on the river just outside of Morgan in a tiny town called Taggart. We went in a boat with 6 other people and our guide who ended up being Dan Gish's nephew. Small world.
Anyway I was a little nervous but soon found out that it wasn't much worse than floating down the Jordan. There were a few white water rapids but nothing to get nervous over. The ride was two hours and then afterwards we went to a resturant near by and had some lunch. It was a really fun afternoon and would love to take all my kids down next time.

Baby Ryland turns One
With everything going on this summer somehow I forgot to post about Ryland's Birhtday. On August 11th Ryland turned one. Nikki had a party and had all the family over for cake and ice cream. She got a lot of fun toys and clothes. I gave her a cute little bike and lot' s of clothes. She did a great job on eating her cake.. What a cute little girl. Happy Birthday Ryland. Still not walking but getting closer.

Alex and Kailie Wed
The day started out early but was a beautiful day. We left early as her ceremony was at 9:20. We arrived with no problems and got all the required paperwork and other things done before we changed our clothes for the ceremony. Holli and Dave were running a little late as Holli doesn't move to fast these days being so pregnant. It was so special having all my kids there and seeing that Paul and I had managed to somehow have them all there. What a glorious day it was to know that we had maybe taught them right and set a good example so that they could all be sealed to us for time and all eternity and now they would be sealed to their husbands and children.
The ceremony was wonderful and just listening to the sealer brought back my memories from when Paul and I had been there 31 years ago. After the ceromony we changed clothes and headed outside to meet the new husband and wife. Pictures were taken for about an hour and then we went to the Lion house for lunch. On the way home it started to get dark clouds in the sky and I started to worry about the weather for our outside reception.
We went over to Bennetts at 3:00 and set up all the deocorations, it started to sprinkle a little but soon stopped. We went home changed and met back over at 5:00 for pictures and then it started at 6:30. They had a wonderful turnout and everything looked beautiful. We held off the rain until the last five minutes and then it only rained long enough to send all the guests home. Kailie and Alex left around 9:00 and we got everyone to help clean up and was home by 10:00.
It was such a beautiful day that I can hardly wait to see all the pictures.
It's hard to believe that my baby girl is married and gone now..The years have surely flown by to quickly. I guess now we get to enjoy all the upcoming years of having fun with our grandkids and children.

Kailie takes out her endowments
On a few days left before the wedding and an important day needs to take place first. Her endowments were taken out at the Manti Temple. It was such a wonderful and special day today. We all left our house around 8:30 and drove to Spanish Fork where we had breakfast at Magelby's. Then off to Manti for a very special endowment session. I can't explain how happy I was to have all my children together in the temple. What a glorious day it was. Every parent dreams of having all their children go through the temple and now our day has come.
After the session we headed to Ephriam and had dinner at Roy's Pizza. The ride back was long..It has been a wonderful day but very exausting...I am so very grateful to my Heavenly Father for this day and for the unbelievable girls that he has bestowed upon me. I love them all very much and today they have made me such a happy mom.
Families really CAN be together forever!!!!

A few of my favortie shots.
Here are a few of my favorite shots of Kailie's bridal shoot. The day was hot and the poor girl had a bad reaction to alergies and her legs were covered is a rash because of all the field shots. But it was worth it because we got some pretty great shots.
