Aunt Bernice

Yesterday my girls and I and my parents all went over to see my aunt Bernice. She is my grandma Birkeland's sister and my only living relative left on my dad's side. She is 93 years young and such a wonderful lady. We had a great visit with her and her son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Shauna. They have a beautful home in which aunt Bernice now lives. I am so glad that we took the time out of our crazy schedules and was able to spend some time with her. I really need to go more often. Love you Aunt Bernice.

We can't take care of the whole earth but we can take care of each other. Service to others is what I want to really do this year. If I can make a small deverence then I can feel good about that.

Jesus Christ said, "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." (John 15:13)

This doesn't mean we have to die to show love for our friends. We lay down our lives everytime we put someone else's needs before our own.
